Conversation #148, recorded on March 24th, 2015. Kirker Butler is a comedy writer, best known for his years writing on the TV series FAMILY GUY and its spinoff THE CLEVELAND SHOW. Under the Seth MacFarlane series, Kirker has twice been nominated for an Emmy Award, and was even selected to write the muc-hyped EMPIRE STRIKES BACK parody entitled SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETHING DARK SIDE. He's also written for the short-lived musical comedy GALAVANT, the Dan Fogelman-created NEIGHBORS and the CBS series LIFE IN PIECES. Kirker appeared here to promote his first novel, PRETTY UGLY.
