Wain was a founding member of the landmark sketch troupes THE STATE and STELLA, and starred in their self-titled series. Wain's written for MADTV, YOU WROTE IT YOU WATCH IT, and CHILDRENS' HOSPITAL. He's written and directed feature films including WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER, ROLE MODELS, and WANDERLUST.  Wain appeared here to promote his Amy Poehler-Paul Rudd film THEY CAME TOGETHER.
